Inés Poggio Quero (21) from Spain won Study in Norway’s video contest with her film “Changes and Exchanges”.
Meeting different people from different cultures is one of the best experiences Inés has had during her time as an exchange student in Norway. This influences her film, which shows international students having painted words in their hands.
“The words represent their associations with being an exchange student in Norway,” Inés explains.
Inés is taking courses in Alpine Ecology at the University College of Telemark. Every international student who wanted to participate joined her video.
“I’m surprised that I won. I’ve only used my photo camera and an editing program on my computer,” she says.
Nature, friends and languages
In Madrid, Inés is studying Environmental Science.
“The reason that I wanted to go to a Nordic country, was to experience something different from Spain.”
She didn’t know much about Norway, only that there were interesting subjects and beautiful nature.
“Nature, friends and language are the three words which describe my stay in Norway,” she says.
Inés assures us that her friends love the video.
“It’s something that will help us to remember our stay,” she smiles.
