| Programme description | The programme is designed to qualify candidates for: - positions in social and health services that require the knowledge and ability to undertake the systematic documentation and evaluation of social and health service programmes, and the knowledge of international and comparative studies within health and social welfare, - employment in agencies or voluntary organisations engaged in international health and social welfare programmes, developmental assistance, etc., - teaching positions in educational programmes for social workers and those working in related health professions, and - research positions at lower levels within the same fields. |

| Formal prerequisites | - Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a university or college. - Work experience and extra education in the field of social welfare or in health service after completion of one's bachelor will give an applicant extra points in application evaluation. - High degree of proficiency in English.
