Summer programmes 2013
Several Norwegian institutions of higher education offer shorter programmes during the summer months. These programmes span a number of subject areas.
International Summer School in Oslo 2013 (June 22- August 2)
The University of Oslo (UiO)
The ISS offers instensive Master's and Bachelor's courses over six weeks. Participants attend daily classes, take examinations and/or write term papers, and receive a University of Oslo transcript. Credits will be certified, but accreditation can only be determined by the students' home institution. The summer school takes place from late June till early August.

Intercultural Management – a Scandinavian perspective
Programme features
Extensive exposure to Norwegian shipping, software and other industries through guest lectures and company visits. Lectures on Intercultural Management from an Scandinavian/Norwegian perspective by highly qualified BI faculty. Classes on Norwegian Life and Society – arts, history, economy, women’s position, politics and more. Social and cultural activities – including sightseeing, BBQ, hiking, Norwegian film programme.

Summer School at Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences (HiOA), OsloSummer school will be a meeting place for students from all over the world. In addition to the courses, HiOA will arrange social and cultural events, excursions, and field trips. Students can use centrally located student villages.
Intensive Norwegian Summer Courses For Exchange Students - Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU)
NTNU offers intensive courses in Norwegian language especially designed for exchange students.This programme is supported by the EILC programme of the European Commission.

European Integration Summer School (EISS) - The University of Agder
The University of Agder in Kristiansand offers its 24th annual European Integration Summer School (EISS), June 24 to August 7, 2013.
- EISS provides students with a sound knowledge of core aspects of European integration and brings them up-to-date with the most salient issues the European Union is facing today.
- EISS is method-driven and consists of two stand-alone courses at Master level taught during the summer and one course offered in the fall term of 2013. Each course carries 10 ECTS.
- EISS brings together a unique blend of international and domestic students, faculty and practitioners.
