StudyinNorway.no is a non-commercial website developed and maintained by The Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU). SIU is a Norwegian agency that promotes international cooperation in education and research, and is a public administrative body under the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research (KD).
About this website
This website is designed to give prospective students, their parents and student coordinators at foreign institutions a basic introduction to various aspects of the Norwegian higher education system, study opportunities, institutions and immigration regulations related to studies in Norway. StudyinNorway.no is structured as a meta portal, which means that SIU is not the primary source for most of the information provided on this site.
Please note that SIU does not accept any applications for acceptance to a Norwegian institution of higher education, and holds no responsibility for any such material, sent either electronically or by regular mail.
Regular inquiries directed to SIU will be processed according to laws and regulations for Norwegian public agencies. SIU does not make use of commercial agents, and should any persons or organisations claim to be offering paid services on our behalf, we ask you to contact us.
SIU holds no jurisdiction over Norwegian institutions of higher learning or other public agencies in Norway. SIU is not liable for problems that should arise in contact with Third Party organisations, even if a link to the organisation is provided on this website.
