Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Security - Master's Programme

With a two-year master’s in Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Security, you will learn the technologies and techniques required to meet societal needs for secure, smart and robust communications networks and services.Communication networks and network services are constantly evolving and are becoming an increasingly important and integrated part of modern society. The Internet, mobile communication solutions and services, cloud computing, intelligent transport systems, and applications are all part of our digital everyday life. NTNU is also conducting research on 6G networks. Would you like to participate in research on technology for the future?You will also learn to design solutions for the Internet, mobile communication solutions and services, cloud computing, intelligent transport systems, and applications. You will learn how comprehensive and complex digital systems are designed to make them a secure and robust part of the infrastructure for a sustainable society. Examples include the next generation mobile networks, smart cities, communication through electricity networks and cryptology.You will acquire knowledge that is in demand all over the world within the telecommunications and software industry, as well as among service and content providers, consultancy firms, research institutes, and universities. The competence you will acquire in innovation and entrepreneurship will strengthen your possibilities for establishing your own enterprise.After a master’s degree, you can pursue a PhD programme. This is an international master’s degree programme taught in English.
