Master in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology + One Health – Masters Programme – Study Across Europe

Do you want to understand how chemicals affect the natural environment, ecosystems and health (OneHealth) – and help create sustainable solutions? This 2-year full-time masters programme (120 ECTS) offers advanced training in environmental chemistry and toxicology, taught across top European universities.

In the 1st semester you can study at the University of Liege (Belgium), the University of Bourdeaux, the University of Pau (France), or the University of Porto (Portugal).

In the 2nd semester you can study at the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) as an NTNU student, or another university.

In the 3rd semester, you will study at the University of the Basque Country. In the 4th semester, you will write a masters degree in connection with one of the universities, including NTNU.)

  • Advanced analytical chemistry
  • How chemicals affects health

The programme gives you broad, interdisciplinary skills – from molecular biology to ecosystem management. You will learn how pollutants interact with living systems and how to protect both nature and human health.

Graduates are qualified for careers in research, industry, environmental agencies, and international organisations.
