Environmental Engineering - Master's Programme

Environmental technologies are one of the fastest growing fields of engineering. If you want to be part of the green revolution and contribute to a more sustainable future, then this study program is for you!

The study offers you a unique opportunity to learn from the best Nordic universities and gain hands-on experience in the field. You will study at two different universities, choosing one of four different tracks. The following two tracks involve NTNU:

  • Residual Resources Engineering and Industrial Ecology: Learn how to turn waste into valuable resources and minimize the impact of human activities. You will acquire skills in process engineering, material flow analysis, life cycle assessment, and waste management and circular economy strategies.
  • Urban Water: Learn how to manage the challenges and opportunities in the water and wastewater sector, based on a comprehensive understanding of the urban water cycle. You will acquire skills in water treatment, distribution, collection, and runoff management.

The Nordic Five Tech Environmental Engineering program is a great way to expand your knowledge, network, and career prospects in the field of environmental technologies. You will learn from the leading experts, work with cutting-edge tools and methods, and collaborate with peers and professionals from different backgrounds and cultures in a Nordic context.
