Information Security - Master's Programme

Do you work with information security, digital forensics, or cybercrime? With this experience-based Master’s degree in Information Security, you will learn how to manage and prevent cyberattacks to strengthen societal security.You will learn how to handle and prevent cyberattacks to strengthen societal security. Technological developments bring more vulnerabilities, risks, and challenges. Increasingly, people make a living from hacking, digital fraud, data breaches, cyberattacks, and cyber espionage. Anything and anyone can be hacked, and professional cybercriminals may demand ransom in cryptocurrency. This leads to a growing need for understanding and managing cyber risks.You will learn how to build secure and reliable information systems and ensure the availability of trustworthy information. The course is suitable for those interested in cybercrime, securing and analysing electronic evidence, or cyberattacks. You will be qualified to work with critical infrastructure, security management, and emergency response in incident handling.This master’s degree programme enables you to combine your studies with your job. It is a three-year part-time study programme delivered online, with some subjects based on in-person gatherings. To be admitted to this programme, you must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with an average grade of C. You must also have at least two years of relevant work experience.The programme is taught in English.
