Information Security - Master's Programme

Do you work with information security, digital investigation or cybercrime?

With this experience-based masters degree programme in information security you will learn how to deal with and prevent cyberattacks to strengthen civil protection. Information security plays a crucial role in digital and sustainable transformation.

The technological development results in more vulnerabilities, risks, and challenges. An increasing number of people have work related to hacking, digital fraud, data breaches, cyberattacks, and cyber espionage as their living. Everything and everyone may be hacked, and the professional data criminals may demand ransom in crypto currencies. This leads to an increasing need for understanding and dealing with cyber risk.

You will learn how to build secure and reliable information systems and ensure the availability of trustworthy information. The course is suitable for those interested in cybercrime, securing and analysing electronic evidence, or cyberattacks. You will be qualified to work with critical infrastructure, security management, and emergency response in incident handling.

This masters degree programme enables you to combine your studies with your job. It is a three-year part-time study programme delivered online, with some subjects based on in-person gatherings. To be admitted to this programme, you must have a relevant bachelors degree with an average grade of C. You must also have at least two years of relevant work experience.
