Information Security - Master's Programme

Our technological everyday life is vulnerable and requires an increased focus on information security. This is a condition for successful digitalization, increased interaction, and reliable information.

Through this programme you will learn how to deal with and prevent cyberattacks to strengthen civil protection. You will learn how to construct secure and solid information systems, and you will acquire an understanding of ethical and legal aspects related to security and privacy. You may choose one of the following specializations: Information security technology, Digital investigation or Information security management.

The programme may be taken as a 2-year full-time programme or as a 4-year part-time programme along with a job.

This is a web-based programme with sessions on campus at Gjøvik of up to 10 days per semester. The programme is taught in English.
