Molde University College – Specialized University in Logistics (HiMolde), West Norway

Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration

The master’s programme in Economics and Business Administration is a two-year full-time programme (120 ECTS). The programme consists of coursework (90 ECTS) and a master’s thesis (30 ECTS). The major profile of the programme is economic analysis (business economics and economics). In business economics, we offer mandatory courses in financial economics and decision and game theory. In economics, we offer mandatory courses in behavioural economics, international economics and globalisation, and cost-benefit analysis. We also offer mandatory courses in statistics, econometrics, and research methods. The programme allows for a significant share of elective courses (30 ECTS) which may be used to deepen your knowledge of economics or broaden your knowledge in other areas like organisation, marketing, strategy, or logistics.

The entire degree programme is taught and assessed in English.

A master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration advertises to future employers that you are interested in economics and business and that you can handle difficult decisions. Our graduates are well-equipped to work as managers, advisors, or specialists, within various organisations in both the private sector and the public sector.
