Nord University, North Norway

MSc in Sustainable Leadership and Arctic Perspectives

In this study programme, you will learn to understand the connection between economics, society, and nature. You’ll develop skills that are crucial for leading businesses and organisations, or contributing as an employee to processes aimed at finding smart, responsible, and sustainable solutions to challenges.

The programme is based on gatherings and is also suitable for those who are not educated in economics. It involves a lot of activity and interaction, and you will have the opportunity to participate in the High North Dialogue, which is the largest international student conference in the Nordic region, held annually at Nord University.

As a student in this programme, you’ll also have the chance to travel the world and broaden your professional horizons, gaining valuable intercultural experiences.

The programme is designed so that you can go on an exchange in the third semester. Alternatively, if you choose not to travel abroad, you can select a set of customized study subjects. You can either go to the metropolis of Shanghai, where the Nord University Business School (HHN) is part of a forward-looking partnership programme, or choose one of our partner institutions within the university alliance Universities of the Seas (SEA-EU). Another option is a regular exchange with Nord’s partners worldwide.

If, for various reasons, you cannot go on an exchange, you can alternatively attend a study gathering in Bodø, along with other international and Norwegian students at the Nord University Business School. The master’s thesis (fourth semester) can be written from an optional educational institution with guidance from the Nord University Business School.
