Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment - Master's Programme

The Master’s programme in Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment (REM PLUS) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree offered by four collaborating universities: University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) – Spain, University College Cork (UCC) – Irland, École Centrale de Nantes (ECN) – France, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) – Norway.

By studying marine renewable energy, you can contribute to the development of a sustainable energy system that can mitigate global warming and address climate challenges. The Master provides you skills in assessment, analysis, simulation, development and exploitation of all available energy in the marine environment and in project development of safe, efficient and reliable marine energy generation plants, including operation and maintenance design and study of the integration of the plants in the electric system. The master's degree prepares you for various management roles in renewable energy and marine sectors.

The program also has a network of associated centers formed by world-leading institutions and companies, which facilitates exciting career opportunities for students. The program is co-financed by the Erasmus + Program of the European Union.
