Why study Scandinavian studies?

Scandinavian Studies seeks to provide international students a semester or year of academic study and social opportunity to study and explore dimensions of the Norwegian language and way of life.

What you will learn

The four courses Norwegian language and culture is recommended for international students. It provides students with good general skills in Norwegian language and insight into Norwegian culture and history, past and present and makes it easier for students to adapt to Norwegian society whether the plan is further studies in Norway or working.

Successful completion of the course NOR1004 fulfils the Norwegian language requirement for studying in Norway.
